WHAT DOES THE SHOW DO FOR THE AUDIENCE?

The Photowalk podcast is a show to inspire photographers of all abilities and interests whether this is your job or a hobby. It’s also a well-being walk for those who find solace and calm away from the noise of day-to-day life. This is a show that doesn’t promise photographic ‘get rich quick’ schemes, but one that deals with the why rather than the how. We feature a real range of genres; street, wildlife, nature, social, news, editorial and we’re not afraid to tackle subjects like mental health, diversity and inclusion.

The Photowalk podcast’s mailbag show on a Friday is recorded on location during a photowalk, the first of its kind in this podcast genre. It’s a three-day production weekly.

But just because something is free to listen to, doesn’t mean that it’s free to produce. As you’ve heard the show, you’ll hopefully appreciate the production that goes into The Photowalk. It’s not simply one man and a microphone plus guest. This is produced very much as a piece of radio, which brings with it a stronger demand for quality production. The show each week is both studio and location-based and atop that we curate Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and write the weekly show pages.
