SLIVERS OF TIME

Hey Neale!

Many congratulations on your daily show! I received my first camera almost fifty years ago, a Minolta SRT-101 35mm that I still have right here on my desk. I have all sorts of cameras and systems but did not really become attached to a brand until I bought my first Fuji, an X-Pro2 in 2016.

As you so often year, it took me back to my 35mm film days in terms of ergonomics and use. I felt as if I was holding a camera instead of a small computer and that I had taken control over my image taking again. Since then, I've added the X-Pro3 and the X-T3 and an assortment of lenses. My X-Pro3 is my primary go to but I keep my X-Pro2 with me with the 35mm 1.4, shooting square format in Acros B&W.

I love photography. I shoot what makes me happy. I try to do as much in-camera with a touch of post. Photography keeps me present and mindful. I can not take an image and not be fully in that moment and I truly believe that our best memories are made up of slivers of time when we were fully present and mindful.

Best always, Terry Price in Tennessee
